Section 4. Special Deliverance Service

At the request of the bereaved host, a special Hundredth Day Deliverance Service may be performed on the hundredth day after the passing of the deceased to send on the spirit. It may be performed at other times at the special request of the bereaved host as a separate or joint service for all those who previously had passed away. A Special Deliverance Service, A Memorial Service to Comfort the Spirits of the Dead, or a Service to Deliver the Wandering Spirits of Land and Sea may also be performed separately or jointly for all the deceased. The procedures and ceremonial texts of the Hundredth Day Deliverance Service shall be based mostly on those of the Final Deliverance Service. A Special Deliverance Service and so on shall be based mostly on those of ancestral rites, but the recitation of scriptures shall be based on those of the Final Deliverance Service.
