Section 4. A Response to a Farewell Greeting

1. When one has been welcomed and will be staying in a place for a quite some time, one must make a round of visit to show gratitude to the representatives who have welcomed one to that place.
2. Regardless of whether a person of a new post or a new arrives at a now location, one should first send a thank-you letter to each representative who provided the farewell.
3. When one who has received a courteous farewell arrives at a new location, one should first send a thank‐you letter to each representative who provided the farewell.
4. When one leaves because of moving or transfer, one should visit and bid farewell to all the seniors of that location and related offices for their daily courtesy and past friendship.
5. When one receives a courteous welcoming or farewell one must always express thanks and, if possible, decline the offer of any farewell to reduce the inconvenience to others.
