“Subhuti, you might think, ‘It was not through the perfection of his physical characteristics that the Tathāgata attained anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi.’ Subhuti, do not think this thought: ‘It was not through the perfection of his physical characteristics that the Tathāgata attained anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi.’ Subhuti, if you were to think this thought, then the aspiration for anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi would advocate that all dharmas are extinguished. Do not think this thought. Why is this? Those who have developed the aspiration for anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi are not advocating this characteristic of extinction with regard to a dharma.
