The Scripture of the Founding Master
Chapter Eleven: Maxims
32
The Founding Master said, “Even though a person has at one moment committed unwholesome acts, if he or she genuinely repents and accumulates merit, the unwholesome energy in his or her body will dissolve, brightly opening the road ahead. Even though a person has at one moment accumulated wholesomeness, if that person has resentment in his or her heart or the intent to hurt others, unwholesome energy will enwrap him or her, darkly obscuring the road ahead.”
