The Founding Master said, “There are two conditions that cause ordinary people to have their wisdom dimmed in any situation. One is that they act out of greed, thereby losing the Middle Way and dimming their wisdom. The other is that they fall into attachments by focusing only on what they have an aptitude for, thereby becoming ignorant of everything else. People who are cultivating the Way must be especially wary of these two conditions.”
