37. The Master said, “When you are making merit, do not lament if it goes unrecognized. If you make merit and receive compliments, you will have already expended half that merit. Better reflect on your deficiencies in making merit than lament not receiving it.” He continued, “If you are sparing with the blessings that come your way, you will receive them over a long period of time.”
