19. The Master said, “The reason, most fundamentally, that we live at this practice site is none other than to pursue mind practice. In order to practice, we need to prepare food and clothing; and to do that, many members together have had to work, engage in enterprises, and establish institutions and facilities. However, there are quite a few practitioners who, perhaps forgetting what is fundamental, have allowed their minds to follow mundane desires and vain glory. How can I not worry about their future, with the roots and branches inverted?”
